This is Mr M here welcoming you to our class blog for 2009. I have read many of your posts from other classes and it's all primo so I am looking forward to reading more of your thoughts, feelings and ideas for this year.

What's a blog?

I dunno, what's a blog with you? (Bad joke). A blog is any idea or thought or story that you wish to write about. You can type about anything!!

How do I blog?

I'm sure that most of you by now know how to use blogspot, but if not you will need to do the following:
1. Enter my email address
2. Enter the password (these will be written on the wall next to the computers)
3. Click on 'Wha Out 2009'
4. Click 'New Post'
5. Type a title
6. Blog!!
7. End by typing your initials (the first letters of your first and last names: NM)
8. Then click 'Publish Post'

After you have finished your post, you may look at other people's posts and comment them if you wish.

Rules

There are only a few rules:
1. Only positive comments allowed. No put downs.
2. Always sign off your posts and comments with your initials. For example, NM.
3. Blog first, then you may read others' and comment them.

Save Now

If you like to craft (write and re-write) a suspensful story you are working on and do not finish it in the allocated time, you may click 'save now' before logging off. This will save your post so that you can come back to it next time to finish or craft it some more! Make sure that you have a title or your name so it's easy to find.
